'Lean on the Wind' actress talks with ifilm

In an exclusive interview with ifilm, Hadiseh Tehrani who plays a starring role in hit series 'Lean on the Wind' talks about Sirous Gorjestani. 

Hadiseh Tehrani studied midwifery at university. She then passed an acting course and started her acting career. Tehrani has appeared in several other series, including ‘Where to in Such a Hurry?’ (2009), ‘The Sky Isn't Always Cloudy’ (2010), and ‘The Occupiers’ (2010).

She has also acted in movies, such as ‘Hot Chocolate’ (2010) and ‘The Ascended’ (2014).

ifilm: Ms. Tehrani, our channel is currently airing two series, ‘Lean on the Wind’ and ‘The Occupiers’, in both of which you played a role. Can you tell us about your acting in these series?

Actress: Playing in the series 'The Occupiers’ was a good experience for me and I am very satisfied with this work and cooperation with director Aqa Khani. According to the director, I tried to play very close to my real character in the series and made Sarah's character a little more playful than the script. The whole series is very memorable for me. In that series, I worked with the best comedians and learned a complete and comprehensive experience, and this experience was enough that I no longer like to work with other people in the comic genre because I learned from the best.

ifilm: You played alongside the late Sirous Gorjestani in this series.

Actress: Yes. He played the role of my father in the series. I still cannot believe that he left us so soon. He meant liveliness and vitality in life to me and I miss him very much.

ifilm: Ms. Tehrani, you play the role of a peaceful girl in the series ‘Lean on the Wind’, which is accepted by the audience and this role is very different.

Well, it is quite natural every actor likes to play different roles, and I am no exception to this rule. Of course, I would also like to say that I am more interested in a serious than a comedy role. I hope to experience all roles, though.
